Dossier is a full featured information organizational tool for the Mac. It is an ideal tool for keeping and organizing notes, to-do lists, passwords, or virtually anything else. Dossier features an easy to use interface, in the same style as OS X's Mail application.
Features included in Dossier
Smart Folders
Smart folders allow you to organize information based on rules such as if an entry contains certain text, when it was created or last modified, or if it has been uploaded to a blogging service. Best of all, these rules are saved for later searches.
Spotlight
Support for searching all your Dossier documents, built right into OS X.
Live Search
Live search allows entries to appear as the information you are searching for is found, a great timesaver.
Blogging
Support for the Blogger, LiveJournal, and Atom blogging protocols mean that Dossier can share post your blog entries to several popular blogging services.
Calendar
An integrated calendar allows you to see at a glance when entries were made. You can also click a date to view the entries that were made on that day.
Flexible Views
A flexible interface allows you to view your information however you'd like. You can choose between vertical and horizontal panes, independently hide or show components of the interface, or use the simplified editor window to Focus on editing.
Documents
Dossier is a document based application. This means you can keep information in as many files as you'd like. This is great for those sensitive items such as website passwords, or keeping personal and work data separate.
Encryption
Encryption is built in to Dossier. Like everything else in Dossier, encryption is flexible - you can encrypt individual entries or entire folders. And as you'd expect, Dossier works well with Apple's Keychain.
Export
Dossier doesn't hide your data away, never to be available to another app. Dossier supports exporting entries, folders, or entire documents to other formats.
